Our neighbor, New Mexico, has just passed legislation that protects children from “lunch shaming” in schools for the entire state. Feed the Future Forward applauds New Mexico and we challenge Texas and the rest of the U.S. to follow suit. House Bill 2159 is in the Texas legislature right now and we are headed in the right direction so children in Texas will never eat alternative lunches again.
